As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Deal, category and loo roll pages carry a "Check price on Amazon" button: an Amazon UK affiliate link for the same kind of item, so you can compare. If you buy through it, Amazon pays Little Jam Jar Ltd a commission; you pay the same price either way. Stockwise never shows an Amazon price and does not score Amazon listings: the price is whatever Amazon shows you.
Stockwise is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk.
Food stores (ReadyWise)
Links to ReadyWise are Awin affiliate links: if you buy, Little Jam Jar Ltd may earn a commission, at no cost to you. The Food stores page lists a few hand-picked long-life foods from stores that publish no price feed. Their "See it at" buttons go through Awin, an affiliate network, to the store's product page. If you buy within the store's referral window, the store pays Little Jam Jar Ltd a commission through Awin; you pay the same price either way.
These products are not scored. We read each price off the store's own page and show it with the date we checked it; a price is taken down once that check is a month old. Which products are listed, and in what order, does not depend on the commission.
Links to eBay listings carry a tag that tells eBay the visit came from Stockwise. If you buy within eBay's referral window, eBay pays Little Jam Jar Ltd a small commission, typically a few per cent of the sale. You pay the same price either way; the commission comes from eBay's fees, not from the seller or from you.
What it does not change
- Verdicts are computed from prices before any link is written. The scoring code never reads which links are affiliate links, and no listing is placed higher because it pays.
- Stockwise does not take payment from sellers, and no listing is sponsored.
- Nothing about you is in the link: only which part of the site it came from.
- Amazon links never change a verdict either: verdicts are scored on eBay prices only, and Stockwise shows no Amazon prices.
- Food stores links (Awin) do not change what is listed: those products are hand-picked and not scored, and the commission plays no part in the choice or the order.
Where the disclosure appears
A short line sits beside every group of listings, and the footer of every page carries the disclosure. The "[partner]" labels on the apps and services page mark programmes Stockwise may join; until it does, those links are plain too.
Working with Stockwise
Stockwise is run by Little Jam Jar Ltd, which also runs Kit and Turfrig. If you run an affiliate or referral programme for something that belongs on these pages, write to [email protected].
What is on offer is a labelled link where one already fits. Verdicts, rankings and placements are not for sale: nobody pays to rank, and a listing never moves up because it pays. A programme that needs otherwise is not a fit.
